I love Violet’s quote about how her goal is to look like a *drawing* of a woman. It goes hand-in-hand with her fetish fashion aesthetic, and also kinda puts her in the same category as Trixie Mattel, who aims to look like a doll. There’s something so exciting about queens who dive headfirst into the fantasy!

It's about how Trixie and Violet are both aiming for a cartoonish, fantastical version of women but the end-results are polar opposites of each other. Violet likes her drag hyper-feminine with very delicate, precise lines. Trixie, on the other hand, goes for broad strokes and a larger-than-life painted look.

i have seen season 7 around 4-5 times because i love the aesthetic of the entire season. I never understood why that season gets so much hate, its by far my favorite season. Thank you Violet for giving genuine and accurate insight into custom corsetry. I’ve been making custom corsets for 15 years for the full gender spectrum and there are a lot of misconceptions (usually based on off the rack experiences and bad media). Custom fit is like second skin and necessary because every torso/body is different. Nothing quite like it though 😉

She’s said in interviews she uses a lot of wigs like many other queens (and hell, most performers in general do too). Violet has custom made ones now too but even when she was starting out she styled cheap wigs to look like a million bucks. Very talented!
