When I first watched this show I kinda cried like a baby. It has been almost 3 years since then. Life has gotten alot harder but when I sat down and listened to this I still shredded tears. Not just because the show was so bitter sweet but also because it represents a time that I really miss. This was an awesome cover. It is powerful and one that means alot to me. Hey Tam, I two years ago when you released this, I was listening to it non-stop. It was a dark but happy time for me. Long repetitive studying for my engineering board exam, heartbroken as heck, but I had the company of good friends and I was just carefree cause I was technically still a college student. This cover comforted me and kept me company during those dark days. Listening it again at 4AM two years later, it made me cry cause it reminded me of a bittersweet time I once had. It’s so surreal. Listening to your song brought back so many emotions and made me realize how far I’ve come since then. I’m an engineer now, doing a bit better but still kinda directionless, lost contact of some friends. Agghh. I guess all I’m trying to say is that powerful music really does evoke feelings, and your work was able to do that. I’m looking forward to your next cover! No matter how long it’ll take.

words cannot express how beautiful this arrangement is. it's just so perfect. how fluid and precise the hand movements were, perfectly in sync. and the harmonics, adding so much magical effect to the whole song. it felt like i'm in a different place. it's surreal how such a single instrument can give out so much emotions. it's even better when you've watched violet evergarden. i can never grow tired listening to this medley.

This Video was uploaded over one year ago. I still remember listening to this arrangement for the first time - the emotion you captured in this 6 minutes really hit me hard. I wanted to learn it, so i did. I loved it. I teared up while playing it. In the end it was the song which i played for my graduation-presentation. And then i left it behind. I wanted to arrange like you, put emotion in my pieces, but thanks to my bad music ears my arrangements are just intermediate and nowhere as good as yours, but i still enjoy doing it. So today i came back to this video coincidentally. I listened to the first few second of Michishirube and the song hit me again, i wanted to play it again. I grabbed my guitar, tuned it and then it just flowed out of me. My muscles still remembered the song, i still remembered the feelings. It just so beautiful, and i really want to thank you for you arrangements. Youre the feel-capturer for me and its nice that your life is so cool right now with all the animation stuff. But i still hope that you have the time to play guitar for yourself, maybe even for us again in the future. So yeah, i love this video.

I re-watched the whole show a few days ago only to find both films. I can say I was disappointed by the ending of the story, and no I won't spoil it here but I now have a light novel to read with, in my opinion, a far more fitting end. I didn't manage to shed tears back in 2018, though gaining a new appreciation for the show and its story over the course of 3 years has truly touched something inside me, and whenever I hear a song from its soundtrack I refuse to hold back tears to make up for that first watching. Thank you for covering such an emotional set of songs so beautifully. I will read the original light novel with this in the background and I encourage anybody else here yearning for more of Violet to do the same :') Should you ever feel lonely, by all means, I would like you to call her name. The name of this girl, whom you have seen through until this point. “Violet Evergarden”.

I think it was 4 years ago when I always listened to your cover of Anohana, this video is always suggested but never bothered to click it. I avoided watching Violet Evergarden as I feel like it's not my cup of tea or that it was too heavy. But weeks ago, I have tried to search it as nothing entices me lately. Watching it definitely was not a mistake, but it wrecked my soul deeply. Yet, if given the choice I would still choose to watch it again. This series pulled my emotions back to my body as if I experience being human again.

Haha! I'm actually touched you can remember me, it was a really great pleasure being able to talk to you after watching you all this time, :P. I wanted to say this in the Discord server since I was thinking about it when I saw you released this video but I ended up refraining, so here's a mini story for you: back when I started playing guitar you were the one who made it really fun and enjoyable with your arrangements and I think that was a key part in me still playing guitar today! Never before had I encountered solo fingerstyle anime arrangements and your arrangements were so much fun to learn and play compared to the other guitar songs I had learned when I was beginning; I spent so many hours practicing and I liked it. I've played a decent amount of instruments in the past and none stuck with me to this day, except for Guitar, and I think that is in large part because of your arrangements tbh, they kept me so interested in guitar and I found it so fun to play cause of them. I just wanted to say that your arrangements were and still are an inspiration to me, and it definitely influenced me into being a guitarist as I am now, and I just didn't want that to go unknown for you since I think it's worth hearing. I hope to see you on the Discord server again soon if I can log on with the busy school life in the way- and props to you for making a Discord channel, it's such a nice gesture from you and the way you interact with your community is incredible and will never be forgotten. It's given me the chance to be apart of a musician community which I've never had before so I'm really happy you made it (it is your server, right? hahaha). And your art skills are getting better and better, I'm quite amazed you were able to mimic the KyoAni style for Violet Evergarden so well, it looks like the real thing! That's a skill, dude. It's definitely an OM body guitar but Martinguitar doesn't have this model in particular. and i think it's likely not from Taylor. I think it's a custom shop level guitar or some vintage model. Im also curious about this guitar so please let me know what model it is if anyone knows. thanks.
