WEARING RED LIPSTICK

Bonjour everyone! this video is about my go to look. A classic : red lipstick. Nothing special about this video. No magic trick. I just wanted to do a little video about the basics of red lipstick. I have this deep connection with the color Red. It is my best-friend, forever love, and my support system. Red to me is powerful, has so much energy and is a staple in my culture. The day I am not feeling it. Or I am tired, i put my red on and BOUM i am back. I do believe that everyone can wear a Red lipstick and I encourage you to try it, so you can feel that too. ❤️

Thanks beautiful lady. I love red lippy, my mum always said that red lipstick made you look older so avoided it for years! I have naturally very dark hair, almost black, I'm blonde now and I suit red lippy better with my blonde hair than I did a brunette. I suited more brick or muted reds before but now I love bright pinks and corals too 😘❤️💜💙

I miss lipstick....I wear a bold liquid lip under the mask just for a feeling of that confidence..... Sort of like when you wear fancy undergarments... You know it's there but no one can see.... it makes you stand a bit taller and prouder.

@@biancamiron4050 just use the one you use then put a little powder over it but be fast and very careful and then use your finger and put another small layer over it just so the color is vibrant again that's what I always do and i helped me

I too wear bright red lipstick under the mask to feel better In my experience Maybelline superstay, pioneer, looks fantastic. Only downside being how hard it is to remove. I had to Google and found out that a thick layer of Vaseline on top, leaving it for a few minutes, will make you able to remove the lipstick in the evening.

Beautiful! When I was a teacher for 30 yrs, I would dress up most days- pencil skirts, dresses, cute jackets etc, to lift my mood and make me feel beautiful. I’m retired, and I do miss dressing up, so once a week I dress up and grocery shop with full makeup and pretty lipstick. My favorite red is from Lisa Eldridge.

I adore red lipstick. I remember the first time I wore it out and I ate alone at a restaurant and I felt so bold and got lots of compliments. It’s so chic and powerful. Only thing I don’t like is having to reapply and how it wears off, but I don’t care. It’s fun and powerful

I think red is perfect in the middle of winter with all the cold and dreariness. Really brings back some life. Yes, you are so right: reds and darker colors make your lips look smaller. I loved this video and the technique of keeping your mouth closed when you apply makes so much sense! I have a hard time applying bold lipstick because my skin and lips are naturally very pale - it’s actually difficult for me to see where the edges of my lips are! But practice makes perfect. More often than not, I'm wearing red on a daily, day or night. And how you applied the lipstick is how I do my lips, too. When I go to the engineers I'll tell them how it actually works so you all dont get in the middle unless it's with information that makes you look like you didnt think about it.
