What type/model/part# of a foam pack did you order from Pelican

It's the 3 layer foam. I can't remember the exact model. It was like 3' x 2' or something. Just make sure the dimensions are bigger than the case

How did you get the lining out? I started to do so myself, with a semi flexible plastic paddle, but the metal border started to separate, and I stopped before I did damage.

I love this and plan to do one myself. My only concern is your optic has to be removed to fit in the case. Whenever a optic comes off a weapon, it must be re-zerod every time. That is a deal breaker for me and this case. I’m hopeful with my weird setup I can make it work. Got a HERA ARMS CQR AR22 with 4.5” barrel and 6” suppressor and a sig sauer romeo7s. Sling and couple of mags. Measures at 27” x 10”.

Nah I have an American Defense MFG detachable riser that the optic sits on. Never loses zero no matter how many times I take it off or put it on. Check them out!

This is why they searched our cases when we went to perform in a concert hall, literally getting there greasy finger on my violin, like your not supposed to touch certain parts of the instrument without permission from the owner
