In 2014 I started getting really sick. My brother had recently been killed so I was told multiple times that it must all be mental. I continued to decline. Finally I was so sick I was admitted to the ICU. First they though it was bone cancer then after a couple days it was figured out. I was in the hospital for two months being transferred to different hospitals for different surgeries. Doctors often brought in students on all different levels to teach them something about my very odd case. I was always happy to let them even though sometimes it got a little overwhelming. I figured that maybe that would avoid a misdiagnose for someone else. I still suffer with a lot of mysterious kind of stuff. There is a lot of doctors that would rather not get involved. I'm 26 now and suffer with more than i'd like to admit. I wish I would have come across a doctor like you that would have took a bit more time to try and figure out what was wrong with me so some of the damage I live with now would not have happened.

So interesting to find a rheumatologist with a KZbin channel. I’ve spent the last 3 years battling the craziest auto immune disease that’s so far undiagnosable. Travelled to Mayo for a million tests with zero answers. One day on my death bed to back to living life. To do it all over and over again. Autoimmune disease is like a roller coaster that you can’t get off of. All that to say. I’ve seen the other side as a patient and admire the work that’s done by doctors like yourself.
