This cover is so good I wouldn't be surprised in Square Enix hired you to play in the orchestra of whatever music will be in KH3. You remind me a lot of Kaori from Your Lie in April. You don't just play the violin, you put your entire soul, your entire being, you express your feelings so beautiful into your music. I hope you will continue do create astonishing songs like this one. Especially me being emotionally connected to the Kingdom Hearts series, I'm truly impressed. Kingdom Hearts has made a bigger hole of feels in my heart then any other video game ever. Something about the characters and story is just so amazing and beautiful to me. MoXfy Milling Well same song but means different things. Also the tempo on the chorus is MUCH different. But it was the creator of the song who decided to do that. Though I think the original song Hikari suits the Kingdom Hearts franchise better than Simple and Clean.

I don't know Japanese, but I do know that "Hikari" means "light" so I'm assuming that the Japanese version has a different meaning behind the lyrics than Simple & Clean. Same with Sanctuary and Passion

Twilight~Prince Sanctuary is closer in meaning to Passion than Simple in Clean is to Hikari though.

Ucha Nekome I'd say they're both equally different. in Passion there was small play on the backwards track while for Sanctuary they asked Utada to make the whole song that way, and I suppose she'd have to change the lyrics for it a lot.

EpicWingmanXIII I use Logic Pro X to do my orchestrated backtracks, and I write things out with midi data through a keyboard instead of actually writing sheets. Sometimes I'll do way different arrangements from the original song but for this one I tried to stay really close to the original :) For the violin part I just do that by ear since it's audio recorded from my violin!

TheZephyrStorm it is the main theme of the first song and several of the other games. It is the most commonly used song. It was in the intro and outro of KH1 and is used for basically every trailer in a remix form.

I have to be honest, I do love the things that Lindsey Stirling does. But Taylor Davis holds a special place in my heart given the fact that I saw her on KZbin when she posted only her second video!
