ninerdanish That's a shame. You should try it out if you get the chance. It has quite a few flaws, and I don't like the music in that game as much as in OoT, but it's a wonderful game. Still, getting the song in MM, then going back to Hyrule is one possible theory. It's an unlikely theory, but at least it's a theory.

This ... literally just blew my mind, in a way music hasn't in a long LONG time! From the second you started playing, I felt like I was on a journey with you. It felt dangerous, and compelling, and so alluring. Like the true sense of adventure. This lifted me from my chair, and cast me into the world of Hyrule on a stormy mid summer evening. After hearing your version, I just feel like this way was how I was supposed to hear it the first time. It's forever altered my outlook on video game music. For the longest time I couldn’t beat the game. Just because I was so scared to go into a door in the Shadow Temple. XD A few years later I restarted the game and played it through again. When I got to the Shadow temple I quickly ran into the door that I was afraid of because I was down to 1 heart and I was being attacked like crazy. How about we don't compare Sterling and Davis and just enjoy their music? There are so many covers of Zelda, just because Davis put one up doesn't mean she's trying to make Sterling lesser, they are both great violinist and movement does not mean anything! I have just see the Lindsey Stirling cover and they are totally differents covers. Ok, I'm going to try really, really hard not to sound condescending here. 1) That's true for a musician of any instrument. You have obviously never played an instrument besides the violin and/or the piano. 2) It's not the violin that takes a long time, it's the player. The instrument has little effect of one's skill. It does make you sound better to have a quality instrument but it's not a necessity. Unless you're on a plastic instrument. But that's beyond the point.

Don't YOU make assumptions, especially if you've never played a wooden instrument. Trust me, your clarinet was most likely not wooden and even if it was you would not be skilled enough to make too much of an impact with only 2 years of experience. Oboes change too as do almost every other wooden instrument. If you play a used wooden instrument and a new wooden instrument they will feel radically different. That is true with almost any instrument and saying only violins do this is just plain ignorance.
