Journey is, by far, one of the most brilliant games I have ever played. It might not be for everyone, and I understand that, but that will not stop me from showering this game with as much praise as I can muster. It's a visual feast, and revels in its simplicity. The gameplay doesn't need a combat system, it just needs to craft a simplistic, if absolutely beautiful experience. Its multiplayer is one I adore. Having a stranger wander into your game is exciting, because the prior isolation makes you crave seeing another traveler. Its quick moments of tension and excitement are never bombastic enough to detract from the relaxing nature of this game, and need I friggin' mention that gorgeous soundtrack? The heart yankingly amazing score that is the reason we are watching this video (great job, by the way). It's an example of an 'art game' that isn't pretentious in its execution. It doesn't throw a weak game at you and demand that you make it important, it just is. If Sony REALLY wanted to make people buy their console, they would have had Thatgamecompany make another visual feast like this. If people are willing to defend The Order because of its graphics, why not have an ACTUALLY beautiful game get that level of visual love. I'm serious. If Thatgamecompany had made something like this for the PS4, it would have been an instant buy for me, potentially even more so than The Last Guardian (which is never going to happen to my dismay). Journey and its sister game, Flower, stand proudly among my favorite video games of all time. Right along with Devil May Cry 3, the Mario Galaxy games, Halo: Reach, Bioshock, Shadow of the Colossus, and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and I'm glad it exists every time it's brought up. Oh, and those vinyls will be mine.

You know, I love the fact that there are two people playing this song at first. It makes me feel like it is actually part of the game. Mainly because you play your chime and together you can simply talk together through these small noises, but what if they hear this sort of music when they're together? This game it just- though it was depressing at points, at the end, walking with your partner, I just felt like the happiest person out there. This game truly was beautiful in every way and I would change absolutely nothing about it. Kudos to you for making such a beautiful song :D

I love the Violin so much. The amount of emotion that you can pour into a single Violin is endless. With this arrangement so much power and emotion was struck in every note. Lunatic Saix *First video game soundtrack. Still, it's impressive. Note: Halo soundtracks sold better than music by many big name artists at the same time of release, as well as being one of the few games to affect pop culture, and was compared to Star Wars, in terms of effects. Playstation and XBox both have a huge success story on their hands. I'm not defending either of them, just pointing out XBox has similar accolades as well. Journey is a game I still want to play, but refuse to drop money and purchase a PS3 for a single game.

redtail I do believe that XBOX is amazing in its own ways, but just because something sold many items, doesn't mean that it was particularly as good as this, as this was pretty close to getting a Grammy. Though Halo's soundtracks are pretty amazing, I will say that. Both PS3 and XBOX have their advantages and disadvantages, I believe the PS3 to be better, but that's probably because I just happen to be a PS3 fan.
