@@stefanstoyanov7460 It's not a real language, it's just non-sensical words made-up by the original perfomer (Lisa Gerrard) - I didn't know that when I made my original comment, but have since found out. Apparently she's been singing in it since she was 12, she calls it "the language of the heart" and when she created it she believed she was talking to God when she sang in it (Don't know if she still does)

Oh my gosh yes! The audio of the HOBBIT was the first audio book we loved! My son found his confidence singing voice with that one, he memorized the entire 10 verses of Misty mountains, for a couples years he was annoyed when we would not let him sing all 10 verses every times he sang it lol. he sang it acapella at the age of 12 at a family karaoke place, and before that the family reunion talent show. Hope he gets to sing with you someday!

This was my father's favorite film. The last song I played for him was a version of this song by another artist. Ever since then whether on different radio stations or youtube it seems to come across my feed---and when it does it's as if he's telling me from heaven that he's still here. Even the very day of his burial we came home and it was playing on Pandora. This is a beautiful cover of a song that no matter the version will always be close to my heart as it reminds me of him. I wish he was here to hear it.
