Genuinely a better guide than the others. Taking the time to break it down was absolutely key.

And with this, I think I know exactly how to set up my Crosshotbar. What’s funny is I think this is going to be a Monk situation where even with all the weaponskills and abilities(excluding the AoE combo, that goes on a separate Crosshotbar for 1 press toggle between Single Target and AoE) on the main Crosshotbar, it’s still going to have quite a bit of open space

I like how you presented the job actions. You've earned a sub 👍🏽

Unironically, your videos/channel made me consider picking up Viper as my secondary job. I'm a RPR main that sometimes also plays DRG, and I had rather mixed feeligns about Viper as a whole, but out of curiousity I checked out your stuff and I am slowly but surely realizing more and more that VPR might be right up my alley as a RPR enjoyer. Great stuff, keep it up and I'm hyped to see what you're gonna cook up in the future with the job. I genuinely am considering ditching DRG for Viper as my secondary job in DT. Cheers! 🔥

Another great video! Love your editing style and you explain things very well. Good Job!

This helps me on controller. Always put your positional attacks on the dpad. Left or Right for flank attacks. Up or Down for rear attacks.

Thank you for breaking it down like you are explaining it to a toddler lol. Sometimes it be like that 🤕

had to wade through a lot of guides that just reread the tooltips to me and then turned the video into a spontaneous glamour showcase/emote spam/random unrelated yapathon/dumb skit storyboard to get here. you've ended my suffering by making a no bullshit viper guide that didn't let the humor overtake the guide portion of the video. thank you.

will have a more updated no bs version out soon when Square announces the changes they're making. In the meantime I have a 10minute rotation video with annotations you can check out that has some more updated/optimal info. thanks for the comment o7

Great video! Super helpful for someone who gets the click-the-glowy-button instructions but wants to optimize. Looking forward to more! Subscribed!

The job sounds very complicated, but it all dumbs down to "follow the glowy buttons"
@VerraXIV3 ай бұрын
Definitely has a low skill floow for people to get into it, but also has alot of opportunity to optimize

Looks very well built for controller, the problem I see is the same with machinist, it looks very VERY spammy. I can barely do an alliance raid with mch anymore due to the pain it causes my hands. I do like jobs with lots of ogcd’s between action skills though because it feels like you’re always bridging the gap! Will definitely give this a go.

It feels like such a tidy job, no clutter. My only concern is how it'll feel synced down for past content.
@VerraXIV3 ай бұрын
It'll probably be the same as Reaper, super bare-boned. But that also means Crackhead Sks Viper might be a thing for 70/80 ultimates
@GreigaBeastDS3 ай бұрын
I think it’ll be much better than RPR synced down, solely because you’re not at a 2.5 gcd and you get a somewhat speakable ogcd somewhat early. I specifically worry about Eureka, and I think I can play Eureka on this without falling asleep.

I tend to keep my gauge near the middle of the screen for easy tracking and my crosshotbar at the bottom so it'll be easier for me to keep track that way.

Id say more like Samurai and Reaper. Your basic dual wield combos are similar in function to Samurai with maintaining your buffs, and Dreadwinder and Reawaken are like Soul Slice and Enshroud for Reaper.
