Unsung Redux is compatible with the creators DLC S.O.G. Prairie Fire. We maintain Unsung Redux and Unsung in parallel, so players have a choice to use Unsung with or without the DLC. Loved that Starfighter landing attempt! I hope I can backport the arresting wire system from CVA-31 to the Nimitz eventually.

Issues I have with rag doll mods are that Arma’s rag dolls are already pretty realistic, and most of these mods dramatize the deaths rather than improve them. A real human corpse, immediately upon death, tends to simply drop straight down like a bag of rocks, or falls immediately in place during motion. There is no slow drop or attempt to stand, or even a force pushing them back. They simply drop where they stand, becoming limp at the immediate moment of death

Please could you make a video about how you play Arma, and what you think is the best way to begin with when you are a beginner. Like what kind of servers and gamemodes you prefer. Because at the moment it seems like I just make scenarios in the eden editor and its kinda boring somtimes because you know how the mission is and I want something unexpected things to happen. I have tried some official servers like some Zeus Moderator gamemode, it was kinda fun but the bad things is that you can only use vanilla. I would like to know how you play the game because after watching these TOP mods videos with cool looking scenes in the background it seems like you have it real fun and I want to know how you play Arma for it to be it like that. For all my cinematic scenes, I use the editor to make it that way. I really only have other players for the aerial shots since I don’t do a lot of ground ops. To use mods on a server, you’d need to join a unit that uses the mods! :) best way to play with those mods instead of just vanilla.

You seem to know your mods pretty well. Hopefully you dont mind me asking this; How do you replace the vanilla weapons, outfits and loadouts with a loadout you create in CUP for example? My friends and I like playing escape missions such as Escape from Tanoa. And we always start with the base game vanilla outfits and weapons and must use mods such as MCC to access the arsenal to choose a realistic loadout. And we have to keep doing that every time we die. Is there a way to replace the vanilla so we dont have to keep doing this?

You would have to use a .SQF file and use a script that runs at the beginning of the mission and upon respawn to tell the game what loadouts you want to keep. Virtual Arsenal allows you to save loadouts and export them to be used in this way. Also, mods like this steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=704347231&searchtext=save+loadouts should help, but you won't be able to use it on official servers.

I downloaded Continent in arms and the requirements but can not find the mod to load and play. Did some digging around to find a dependency not listed (map or some such) and its a no go. So, if a dedicated server (one hosted by a paid third party site that is active 24/7) and the mods are installed on that server, then in order to play on that server you would have to the same exact mods loaded. There is an option to allow ANY mods on a server, but most don't do this because if you load in with a jet or tank that I don't have downloaded, you'll be invisible to me but still blowing things up on the server. Other people that have the same mod as you would see you, however. On a non-dedicated server (a locally hosted server run on your PC, or a friends) the same rules apply. The easiest way to play with friends and with mods is to have the host export their modlist using the launcher and sending it to players trying to join. They can download all the same mods and ensures ONLY those mods are loaded so if they try to join and the server is set to "Only allow these mods" your buddies won't be kicked off and can join right in.

what mod are you using to get the smooth movement of the weapon when moving Arma 3 is very clunky on movement but your animation looks way smoother then original animation? plus the view throw the weapon looks more realistic in terms that the eotech is not up in your face blocking your view is that a mod also to fix that thanks.

Viper do you know of any mods that make ai better drivers and follows convoys better because when I use the editor no one can follow my convoy and I want them to be a nice passive convoy and I can't find any mods
