Separate hair into 3 sections. Set them side by side by side and grab each section with different fingers or its sometimes easier to grab the left and right sections with the left and right hands and alternate holding the center section with the index fingers of each hand. Take one side, left or right, and move it over top of the center section to the other side. Take the section that was already on that side and flip it over the section you just put there, making it the center section now. Go back to the side you started on and repeat until you run out of hair.
