I do my toes like this and they look very much like acrylic and last long like acrylic but I feel like it’s better then acrylic Becus if you hit your toes the acrylic n your whole toenail come off n bleeds but this way I never had a problem & if I do hit my toe the gelx toe tip comes off it doesn’t rip off my whole toenail with it 💯

You should try the solid hard gel! So easy! I’ll never use anything else to apply any kind of nails! Won’t need to hold the tip down to the light! So much easier!

do you need to add base gel coat? that might be confusing, like you know how there is a top coat for gel polish do I need to apply a base coat? If so is it before the gel x or after you apply the gel x? sorry if this is confusing

I know what you mean dw and no the gel glue is all you need to glue on the tips! if you were planning to go for a gel color only without the extensions then you would use base coat. If not, you would just use dehydrator, primer then glue!

This is late but u can use a base coat or the gel as a base. I just use a cheap base coat
