I did it just to fool around and my hair's kinda too long for it. I have like 20 freakin pins in there to hide the excess then hide the hidden parts. My pandemic bangs fell out because not quite long enough to tuck in but most women like having the "face framing pieces". I want all the hair up and off me though but that's a me problem. I do think this is relatively beginner friendly but I'm finally not a beginner anymore at age 52! I remember well though that being a hair beginner is so frustrating. I thought I couldn't do hairstyles for decades. What I finally learned is that most of just need to log a bunch of hours of frustrating practice. And mount an angling mirror somewhere so you can see the back as you go. If any beginner is reading this comment in the future I hope they will take that to heart: just keep practicing. If you really want to learn how your hair works, every day do a hairstyle, even if you're not going anywhere or don't need to look good. Lainey, thank you for all vids this year. I've enjoyed them all. Merry Christmas, happy new year, happy anything else you celebrate this time of year! I appreciate you.
