Grew up was in hs in 2016 loved a full beat was one of the first girlies with lashes crease wing and contour and TONS OF HIGHLIGHT. Expensive brushes and palettes. In the last three years I’ve been doing a 2000s finger shadow and shadow sticks and LOVE IT. So easy and looks better on me. I get so many compliments. I think the oil in my hand makes the shadows pop more too.

how do you keep your hands right on your head so it stays super tight and defined? i figured out how to dutch braid my hair but it always ends up really loose and fluffy because my hands keep sliding and idk how to position them, i've tried everything to get a good grip but nothing seems to work. also my hair is EXTREMELY thick, curly, and naturally dry so it tangles easily and I always end up with horrible bumps because of how much natural volume i have (i hate it). what should i do? any help would be greatly appreciated

I love the look, but please be careful using eye products on your waterline -- anything in that spot is basically treated like you've applied it directly to your eyeball in terms of what it comes into contact with. As a younger person with chronic dry eye caused by blockages in the oil glands there (MGD), you couldn't pay me to do my eye makeup like that anymore, but I may just be unlucky 😅

Use a brown or gray eyeliner instead of black. I am super fair skinned with light brown hair and black eyeliner is way too harsh for every day (but great for special occasions when my overall makeup look is more glam). For everyday, brown looks amazing!! Even when paired with black mascara! Doesn’t clash like you’d think 😁
