It's literally so good eh?! I love that with some translucent powder on top, you wouldn't be able to tell that it's not a high end foundation.

As im aging im finding it much harder to find a foundation I am happy with. I have oily skin, which some say is an advantage when aging as changes are amplified by dry skin, but I don't know... it has its own challenges. The 1 think I really notice is the lack of good matte foundations, that never stay matte on me anyway but now as I am older, seems like they fall into my pores more, crease around my nose and eye wrinkles and through out the day end up lifting and separating and sliding, making touch ups with powder a disaster. Everything I read says stay away from matte as you get older, but standard foundations all sit on top of my skin like this one does on you, I've tried super light moisturisers, primers of all types, nothing ultimately lasts, at least I have a great powder, which actually does give that matte blur effect and my skin looks better, however its not great around eyes and nose after a few touch ups. This getting older shit just sucks sometimes lol. I really loved your review, and great follow ups. Thanks Lady!

I absolutely understand what you mean and how frustrating it can be to find the perfect foundation. Have you ever tried the il makiage brand? I love it and people say it's great for mature skin and it's matte (which I wholeheartedly believe is the way to go with oily skin) one tip if you do want to try them, definitely get the primer. The primer is key and they work so well together. They have an online quiz to find your colour match and I found it to be a perfect match. I use my translucent setting powder from One Size (I'm obsessed with that powder.) The il makiage is a bit pricy but I definitely think it's worth a try for ya. Must u wet the mushroom each time u use it? No directions come with it

Yes!!! It's very important to wet the mushroom each time. You want to squeeze the water out a few times, you don't want it to be heavy with too much water, but it must be damp.

Watery eyes are a symptom of dry eye……I have just been diagnosed with chronic dry eyes and my eyes water often.

@@PalmSquad yes I was prescribed Hydrasense eyedrops without preservatives. There are several types …..very dry eyes, nighttime gels etc Ask your pharmacist to explain the difference… it works very well.
