Pastor Ed is the man! In 2017 I saw him playing basketball at my high school a couple times and would say hello. Fast forward 5 years later I’m waiting tables at a steakhouse and he comes in. I decide to go say hi to him and he immediately says “hey man! You still playing ball?” The fact that he even remembered me is insane to me, given how many people he interacts with on a weekly basis. Ed cares deeply about God’s people, and he is intentional about spreading the love of Jesus to the San Antonio community. Michael is an inspiration to ALWAYS be obedient when the Lord gives you an assignment. I hope Anthony’s story helps provide hope to those who may be going through something similar and are feeling hopeless.

I had to do a double take when I saw Pastor Ed on here! That’s our Pastor! I love that you all teamed up to talk about this. I was at the 2:00 service right after all of this happened with the 12:00 service. Ed was telling us about it. I went home after our service and watched the 12:00 service. It was so touching! God high jacked that service and delivered a very impactful message! The following weekend I went to the 12:00 service. ED gave us an update on Anthony. At that time he had left the hospital and was back on the street. Ed basically told us if we saw him around to tell him he had a place to come back to and when he was ready, help was available for him. He updated us again recently that Anthony finally agreed to get the help. CBC is truly helping so many people in their walks with Christ! It is such a blessing, week after week, watching people come to know Christ personally! That’s what it’s all about! Thank you for having Ed and Michael on to share about this amazing story! God bless!
