Far from the first time I've seen this plot. I've literally seen similar stories like probably over a dozen times. It's to the point where as soon as I see a story where a mom is basically abandoning their child with a relative stranger I automatically assume they're going off to have an affair or if they're not married see their boyfriend. Do they think that just because they barely know them that there's no way that word can get back to their husband? Or often they arrogantly assume they have some sort of authority or leverage over them. It wouldn't surprise me if they were real people that they'd be easily diagnosed with a strong case of Narcissism. Though after so many stories I'm really starting to doubt that there's anymore /real/ stories coming out and that the channels and reddit posters are just recycling the same characters and plots and just mix and matching things and changing little details. Either that or just narcissists and cheaters are very predictable and this behavior among them is just very common.

Even if Cindy had agreed to babysit, it would still be incredibly irresponsible to leave a 2-year-old outside unattended instead of waiting for Cindy to come to the door and handing him off in person. Within seconds of Mattie leaving, the kid could have run into the road and gotten hit by a car.

Continue to let their employees work from home. And how dare she calls her Neighbor a leech because she’s a housewife she’s unbelievable. I’m glad her husband divorced her and took a lot of money from her what she deserves how does anyone leave their child in a neighbors yard that you’ve only met three months ago and you don’t really have any kind of connection with them. I’m glad she was able to get in touch with his father. Otherwise she should’ve called CPS and get the child taken away from her.
