Well let's do some math. The average life expectancy for a woman in the US is 79.3 years. 79.3÷3=26.4. That would make 0-26.4 youth, 26.4-52.9 ones middle years (or middle age), and 52.9- 79.4 old age. So seems right to me. Jokes aside though I'd say 39-55 is what I think of as middle aged (at 54 so almost just a senior lol), but I could understand if you expand that to 35.
