you have to have a paid league to have professionals. when people refer to pros in pubg or fortnite they usually refer to people who played professionally in another game or people who are popular streamers due to their game skill (chocotaco, wackyjacky, maestro, etc)

I almost miss the days of no loot. It really meant something when you got fairly decent loot, so you really wanted to win that game. Plus, there was less incentive to hot-drop, so we didn't lose half the server in the first 10 minutes unless there were streamers in the game. You could have fun, high-kill games, where you encountered enemies frequently. Unlike now, where nothing happens between the last hot-dropper dying, and the circle finally pushing people together, 'cus it's way too easy to get looted and leave for the safe zone. Plus they added the emergency mid-game skip balloon.

actually depends on your view of RNG, i personally thing there are two types of RNG, pure RNG and RNG. Pure RNG is the worst kind its the kind that is 100% roll the 100 sided dice and hope you dont get boned. good RNG is RNG that is influenced. for example League of legends crit is influenced by the amount of crit you build BUT its also influenced by how OFTEN you do crit. when you have 20% crit in league it is coded to make you more likely to crit the more you dont crit and less the more you do crit. basically 20% crit in league means YOU WILL crit 19-21% of the time. dragons also considered RNG but you know when and where they will spawn as well as have more than 4 mins to plan for it and has other objectives that make it so a team cant just camp the area. the problem with PUBG is there is TOO much PURE RNG. The zone can spawn literally anywhere in the circle, the map you get is RNG, the red zone, the loot, the dmg you do to a player (because the player has like 15 different % of damage hitboxes on them) controlling your recoil perfectly is impossible (key term perfectly) so you dont know exactly which one of the 15 different hit boxes you will hit. etc. they need to reduce the amount of pure RNG in the game.

So concerning esports, i wonder if they made the circle center, where it only closed in on itself instead of changing locations, and made a map that was symmetrical as far as towns or places to loot around the border of the first circle, maybe like 16-20 places, and as the circle closed there would be less towns/places to loot. That way everyone has the same opportunity to win with less luck needed

I would like to see a change where each player is given a single extraction smoke that they can toss and in X amount of time, say 10 seconds, you are taken up in a chopper and can dive in. The chopper dive is a very low altitude jump and it is a stealth chopper which has almost silent blades. this item could also be in crate drops. Having 100 choppers flying around may not be a great idea but Im wondering how to increase mobility greatly in a way that is quickly exhausted to open up the map and also create less blue zone deaths.

What if all the last circles were pre-decided and told to the players beforehand, but not which order they will come in the respective games in the tournament. It would make it possible for teams to build a bit more tactics around the circles, not always be caught off guard. It would of course still be strong to get the center-circle but teams would be able to deploy more tactics around their rotations, especially in mid to lategame.

i think this would also make for a more interesting early game in the pro scene, instead of everybody dropping as far from each other as possible. If people think the last game(s) would be too predictable or boring you could also throw in a few extra pre-determined circles so that the teams dont know which one it would be the last game

Nothing needs to change in pubg, Shroud is just venting like everyone else who gets a crappy circle in pubg. All that needs to be said is there are closing circles for obvious reasons, and they are random for obvious reasons. For every "better way" of rethinking the circles, there is always at least 1 reason why that "better way" is a bad idea.

so.. shroud is talking about how the circles play out in BR games and how its an advantage disadvantage to teams.... his chat sort of brainstorms ideas for making it more even.. how about this: first, instead of timed circles, make the circles spawn according to # of players.. so (if based on 100 player match) at 80 left the next circle spawns.. at 60 the next... the number is a yet to be determined thing.. 45 for next? 40? 30? i dunno, but base it on player count.. but the second bit is the kicker.. have the center point of the circle spawn on 'most disadvantaged' team... now, i know that's arbitrary, so it would be up to the mechanics of the game. if theres a point system, lowest point team.. if the gear quality is major factor, then least geared team.. or if kill count is prominent, least kills team... being the center gives an advantage as shroud is saying, so not only is the weakest team getting a 'leg up', but it forces the stronger teams to take a weaker position... sort of a 'handicapping' or balancing for each circle .. of course the smallest circles would have to be centered by an average between final players.. say last 10.. otherwise the centering would give away position of the weakest in short range situations.. i think that, not necessarily equality, but balanced inequality (haha) would make for an interesting BR mechanic... someone pass it on to Shroud..

I truely respect your ideas..... But the problem is that most players will prefer camping over rush game play.... A dynamic circle forces them to leave their position and move on to the next cycle... If every player is about to camp than how the hell you can kill them?.... So the next circle will not be triggered easily

The point system weren't much good compare to the new point system. Look at this tournament, Team Shroud had won 3 out of 5 game and they should get a highest point in a total ranking in this whole tournament but they wasn't. This is the reason why they didn't get a first place to win this tourney. If the point system is good just like in the new point system, Team Shroud would definitely on top and no doubt their team will won this kind of tourney instead of ForsenE
