all this comments and understanding virgil, his approach to perfection was from 75 to 80% of a done product. I can imagine him seeing these posters and giving a green flag without any changes. It's all a matter of perceptions; not everything is theory, and I see lots of these "gurus" quoting many book references.

So easy to judge other people's work. Unique content concept would be to see all these "guru's" do a project and judge eachother.. way more interesting and insightful. Never gonna happen because of their ego's.

Critiquing is part of the process. It helps you learn. That’s what the Futur Academy is about they’re helping young designers learn. Instead of being offended by it take notes and learn how to take they’re information and make it better. These guys have years of experience and knowledge they’re just helping people grow.

@@bennettalack5234 We've seen critiquing for several years now, we got that part. Time to switch it up a little right? Me being offended? It is not my work though.. I am just saying new unique content would be awesome and refreshing ;)

Not saying you’re wrong at all, but at least with Chris I think his(& Blind’s) work precedes him for a lot of the knowledge he gives. He learned well and teaches well! Personally I wish they’d get back to the “design” part of “the business of design” because the main futur channel has become the primary endeavor for a while

@@lloydfreeth I think also to your point about critiquing for years on is a fair point, but even more I think the Futur is great for getting people their first starts in design but is less concentrated once they move beyond the basics. Typography 1 was amazing when it first released, but now where is Typography 2?
