I have an 11 hour flight and I’m terrified any tips? Was it a nice call flight? I’m not doing the same route but still going to USA from UK

In my opinion the best thing to do on long flights is to sleep. It's the best way to make the journey go quicker. So wear comfortable clothes and either stay up or wake up earlier than you would.

What was the allowance for economy light? I know you can take one hand luggage up to 10kg but can’t find the dimensions. Also, are they very strict with the side of the luggage as I have a backpack. Thanks

With hand luggage, you’re right, it’s up to 10K according to the website. They did not ask to check the weight though. I had a backpack too and they didn’t check the dimensions either. You’ll be fine with a backpack either way as Virgin are not as strict compared to other airlines.

hi is vrigin atlantic strict with checked baggage weight. Would they allow 24kg instead of 23kg. or strictly by the book
