I’ve been buying cold pressed coconut oil from long time of Kerala. Now I understood why it’s expensive. Thankyou
@pastryshack551 Жыл бұрын
You don't have to wonder why it is expensive? Unless you get free coconuts it's costly. Some times a coconut does not have one drop of oil, why I don't know, but 5 coconuts might give you 1/2 cup of oil, my coconuts cost 20 $ American, so you know why it is expensive.

VCO from 2 coconut 1. Squeeze out coconut milk from shredded coconut meat, cover and refrigirate for 24 hours 2. 1:23 Remove water from cream, set aside cream for fermentation at room temperature for 24 hours 3. 2:08 After fermentation, freeze for 1 hour. Collect coconut oil, set aside at room temperature, strain

this is extra virgin , fermented oil process is more better than heating as heating will remove essential nutrients and reduce Omega 3 , good job "Jas4330"

@@shrutiscookingchannelDo you know the meaning of cold pressed and extra virgin? Cold pressed and extra virgin means no heat or oxidation is involved you have done both heated the oil and most anti cold pressed thing you have done is grind in the mixer? do you know how much rotation per minute that mixture has? it creates so much heat and oxidation, Cold press means much anti oxidation and very less oxidation it has normally 50 to 150 rotation per minute when pressed where no heat or oxidation is involved that is why it is known as cold pressed. There are machines and juicer which does this job but home mixer grinder has thousands of rotation per minute we can't make cold press or extra virgin on that.
