Nobody died from Virgin Orbit.. that was Virgin Galactic.

Not true on the importance of failure rates in today's age. Only for manned missions. That, and the fact it is a private company not entirely reliant on public funding is why SpaceX was satisfied using consumer-grade electronics for a lot of it's stuff, because the extra few significant digits of safety were irrelevant to them.

1:49 Sad little Rocket Lab, Peter Beck, noises. Rocket Lab has put a bunch of payloads in orbit. But Jeff Bezos with Blue Origin is mentioned when they don’t even have a rocket after their one and only had an accident. Even when Blue Origin had a rocket the most they did were straight up and back hops, 10-12 minute carnival ride. Orbital launches are at least an order of magnitude harder than suborbital hops.

You’ll note Blue Origin as well is having some serious issues and huge delays, which is actually affecting other space companies due to delays in delivering engines. You showed three businesses and three businessmen, Virgin, Blue Origin and SpaceX. The three leaders were Branson, Besos and Musk. First is now gone, second appears to be going nowhere, third will believing around 80% of all tonnage going to space in 2013. The third has launched 3 ships in less than 2 days… 2 ships in less than 5 hours. They have returned over 180 ships back to earth successfully. Branson has gone to space, Besos has gone to space yet the billionaire with BY FAR the most expertise in aerospace has never been to space. Not because he doesn’t want to! Musk does not do space flight for show but rather to fulfill a mission.

If that's accurate regarding musk?....I like that thinking I watched a Space flight and was wondering had they not carried anything up there.... Id want a not only space flight but it's got to be purposeful.... Stratospheric monitoring system ? On outside the ship? Glancing at? Had it collected stratospheric gases for study potential? Maybe thats something to consider in terms of design? A paint? Maybe that draws particles to the ship *arghhh but it depends on how it lands when comes back.....would have to be not in water to preserve sample*** A compartment from the inside that can be pushed to allow for gas collection ? That would of been good
