Ahoy! We stayed on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady for SEVEN nights and we bring you the FIRST complete dining guide of every eatery on board. As most voyages are only three or four nights, you're not going to fit it all in. That's why you should watch this and make decisions about how to use your precious time on board and where you'll get the most culinary enjoyment. I hope you find this video helpful and enjoyable!

The best restaurant guide we have seen - gutted we missed out on the Social Club and the 15th Deck cafe's little bowls! We were on the 23rd Aug sailing and LOVED the food - Pink Agave was our fav followed by the Test Kitchen with Razzle Dazzle for lunch the biggest (pleasant) surprise. Steak restaurants are` just that - steak restaurants - but The Wake was as good as any! We thought the food in the Italian was good but possibly lacked a little atmosphere although the staff were great. The pizza place while only having 4 pizzas on the menu will make any of your requested combos to order! We've already booked again for the Zeebrugge Cruise on Valiant Lady and the Greek Cruise on Resilient Lady - hopefully they'll vary the menu's a bit!

We went on a VV cruise last year aboard the Scarlet Lady. We were very impressed by everything the ship had to offer so much so that we booked a second voyage while still onboard! Thank you for this video, it was very helpful when I got to go. A few additional things that I loved and highly recommend: in the galley, the coconut pavlova (meringue, pineapple compote, and coconut cream) melted in my mouth unlike any dessert I had ever had, and the pistachio macarons with fresh raspberries in the middle were amazing. Also, at the sweet shop, the freshly made chocolate covered peanut brittle was excellent.

TYVM! Looks good. OTOH, look at the test kitchen. I almost always get the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing at a Michelin-starred restaurant, so I am in the target market. Yet I get to sit in comfy chairs not chic stools. I like innovation so there is much at Virgin to enjoy. Yet I get the feeling that in their pursuit of innovation - or at least different - they are trying just a bit too hard. YMMV.

We are going on a virgin cruise in Dec on the valiant lady :) not really sure what to expect and if i will like this alternative styling of cruising. Im eager to try something new, but just not sure. Im really concerned about the food though as i prefer home cooked /pub style meals. This food seems very fancy and im scared my tummy will not be able to stomach it. I think for our 5 night cruise i will be eating only deserts and drinking coffee lol oh well guess I'll stack on quite a few pounds, but who cares you only live once :)

I’m afraid we didn’t, no. We booked all of our dining in advance before getting on the ship (apart from breakfasts). Hopefully they have some way for handling last minute bookings 🤞

It really depends what you are looking for. We recommend watching and reading as many reviews as possible so you know what to expect from whichever you choose. We do have some celebrity videos which might be useful for you. As first time cruisers you may find celebrity a more gentle introduction to the world of cruising, but then that’s where virgin try to break the mould, trying to replicate a resort holiday on a cruise ship - guess it just depends what you want from your vacation. Well, their drinks package is different (typical Virgin Voyages!) - you pre-purchase a 'bar tab' and if you do that you'll get extra cash for your bar tab. confused? Yup. :)
