That is great that Virgin does this; I have a cruise next month and can't wait. It is fun to connect with other solo travelers. My last cruise a bunch of solo travelers connected on facebook from the group sailing and it allowed us to say hey going for drinks here or dinner here and sometimes 2 people would show up other times 20 people would show up. As a solo cruiser is nice have the option to meet up with other so you don't feel alone.

Hey C. You solo cruisers definitely showing me it’s possible to cruise alone. It’s quite common. Oh they took you guys touring together on the way to sailaway. Is it me or the Christmas decorations a little scant. I’ve seen the cowboy crew dancer in soooooo many vlogs 😂. Oh they had a whole event and dinner for the solos. Cool 😎. Oh no. Someone fainted? They may have changed it since you sailed but they put a letter in your cabin stating they noticed you are sailing solo and here are some meet up times and activities

I went solo-ish on my VV cruise (sailed with a friend but had different solo cabins). Had a solo ocean view and loved it! We also appreciated the solo meet ups too. Even convinced my mom to book a solo cruise on VV ❤

I can’t recall this cruise was in August 2023 but Virgin includes gratuities, wifi and other fees in the cost of its cruise.
