Virginia City, Nevada a Western Dream! Review of the Silver Queen Hotel. Eating at The Palace Saloon

I spent the day in Virginia City. Winter winds were blowing in! But what a magnificent Western Town. I stepped back in time spending the night in the Silver Queen Hotel, eating at the Palace Saloon, and later driving to Gold Hill and eating at the Crown Point Restaurant.

I absolutely love the song here while you are driving. I don't want to get emotional but those words really hit home for me an I also was thinking about you and your families recent loss. I admit that I teared up a bit. Such a beautiful song, i had to restart the vid and listen to it twice. Like the hat, its badass. Another really fun looking town. You stay at some real funky hotels, they always look cool. I always chuckle when i see random donkeys and burros in your vlogs. They just seem to always fit into the theme of your channel. Like the clips of you just walking by the camera ! Ok...enough walking lets eat and drink beer! The hell with hotel stairs, where is the elevator ???? Thank God for that Monster Drink to help you up the stairs! Is that a closet or a room? LOL... New York Strip looked good and those veggies look great! I love grilled veggies! Fun vlog Walt, even if you did get me all emotional at the start. LOL! Thanks for sharing

I love your comments. That song was emotional. It was just weeks before my Mom passed. I did have a heavy heart. Got that hat in Williams, Arizona. Cool place! I love seeing the donkeys and burros too, they are just the funniest things. I did need a Monster to get up those stairs. Damn it was more steps than climbing Chitzen Itza in Mexico! Some sad news... StinkE, the man you talked to with the donkey (Bernadine), has passed away. He was a Virginia City icon for a long time, and he will be missed. Glad you were able to cross paths with him, Frontiersman. Take care and keep up the good work.

You will definitely have to go back in the summer time. Hopefully once Covid calms down and people get to come back. That place gets VERY busy in the summer and reenactors will actually hang around downtown.

My dad volunteers and dresses up like a old western sheriff in Virginia city and talks to people about the history about Virginia city such an awesome place and a lot of amazing history the old western people you see walking around are volunteers called the silent riders which my dad is a part of R.I.P stinkE ❤
