Nice video mate!!! It’s always nice watching your clips….🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 VK definitely looks different from 2020. I ride here almost every Saturday, or I go to Markham or do road cycling….Cheers!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks! Still a long way to go, especially on the straights. The roadies love those.

Love the video. What camera system and software did you use for this race analytics?
@MigsMTB3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Main camera is a Gopro8. Rear is a Gopro4. The video itself was edited on Davinci Resolve and then the software to embed the video with the GPS unit data (gpx file) is Garmin Virb.

How do you get into this sport? I went there last week and loved it. Rented a bike just to see if I would like it and did. So what do you think is a great starter bike?

Any bike is a good bike to start, just invest a bit more and don't get anything from Walmart or Target. I suggest not going too fancy as you start. Many people think that will make them better riders but the truth is you learn to understand how you feel with a bike and what you like, when you are actually not on the best one. That will make you a better rider eventually. I'd start with a hardtail from a good brand, you can get them used for a good price. Everything depends on budget.

How many km did you ride?
@MigsMTB3 жыл бұрын
This race is around 6.2 miles (~10 km) each lap. My category does two laps. Next cat does 3 laps, experts do 4.

Lol. Yeah I am not fast out of the trails, too many roadies. I catch up to people inside the trails. Got him at 27:00 but it was the end of the trail and then he 'gone again.

@@MigsMTB oh you were doing great I watched the whole video , it was just odd to see him come out of no where with that speed when you an everyone in front had such a good pace, I was thinking why isn't that guy in first place from the start. Looking forward to more video's an watching some of your older ones.

@@tsgarage2382 thanks. I will start adding more videos of other places I've been to. Not many races though, they've all been cancelled/postponed due to the virus now. I only recently started recording the races.

@@MigsMTB yeah some races are postponed most races in the PNW wont be going till june an later, I hope to have my first season an try to get it on video, not many people upload full races, I find it very interesting to see other places an watch other riders.

I went back an watched at normal speed so it was the 2x speed that really made that guy look fast, lol ops
