This is why my husband slept on the couch in the NICU with our baby until I was well enough to switch places with him. It was even a male nurse that tried to make a big deal out of him sleeping on the couch saying “if he’s that tired maybe he should go home” then proceeded to approach the incubator looking agitated. I told him I would rather him not! Listen, the way I reported him and he was pulled from caring for our baby. If you can keep your baby or go with them for procedures please do so. Trust NOONE!!! 😡

Had two of my four children at Henrico Doctors and have never in my life heard of this. I never let my babies out of my sight unless testing is being done other than that they stayed in my room. 1) this should be treated as a hate crimes as well as several felonies and 2) I'm confused as to how she was doing it that nobody caught on? Was it routine procedures where she just chose to be more rough to try and cover it up? (Like maybe gripping black babies extra tight, putting them on the tables forcefully, etc.) Or was she deadass just sitting there 3 - piecing literal babies??? And no one said anything or saw her??? I worked in a children’s hospital for 4 1/2 years and it’s all about a paycheck now! There are very few, and I do mean very few who genuinely cares for the patients! They make it looks so wonderful from the outside, but when you’re walking, looking, and listening from those hallways it’s a different story. Praying for those innocent babies🙏🏾

Every hospital in this country nurses should be required to wear a camera. Too many patients go through negligence, abuse, and bullying. It is sad and sick but true. Change 2025. All patients deserve protection from cruel individuals that should not be in the medical field but unfortunately are. Shout out to the professional hard working nurses that actually care about their patients. The ones that are purposely causing harm on patients shame on you, and legal action should be taken immediately.

Those cameras could also record the verbal,disrespectful abuse and sometimes physical attacks that the patients and their visitors do to the nurses…..this coming from an RN. I can guarantee you that that happens much,much more frequently than the nurse being the abuser.
