@@FGL_Apex i really get what ur trying to say but ur also kinda just using reverse logic. Like anyone wants what ur describing, the very problem is that most of us have trouble getting it. Its not like most of us would be against having that or anything we just don’t have the ‘choice’ like u imply there is between just getting it. What I would say is that I definitely say I’ve learned a lot from living with other people in college, ik the experiences can differ a lot, campus’ suck sometimes. But as someone who lived with about 9 or so women for 3 years in a dorm house, it really was very nice and I just wish guys wouldn’t be forced into the mindset that there’s this huge divide between men and women, that you can’t be friends with them. Because thats the opinion i see A LOT of, you can be close with women and not necessarily be in a relationship. Its tricky perhaps, but idk my experience has been very positive with it and its a shame that societal and online there seems to be an implied rule that its impossible to be close to women and not have feelings for them.

So late to the party lol I respect that you’re both being so conscientious about the experiences of bisexual and lesbian women by not trying to “steal” that label, but how you label your sexuality is 1000000% your choice. I’ve felt annoyed before with women who said they were bi but I was confident wouldn’t actually date or possibly sleep with other women, but I’ve been actively challenging this over time and I’ve also realized some really important things: A lot of women who don’t realize they’re bi/lesbian may only be sexually attracted and not romantically attracted- that doesn’t take validity from the label if that’s you. You don’t need to be any % interested in women more than whatever “sometimes” means for you. It could be 1 in 10000 women and you’d still be able to claim bisexual as your label is that was how you felt. There isn’t a required amount. You don’t have to have dated or slept with a woman to know you’re attracted to them Sexuality can change over time, and often does. Many more people are fluid than strictly one or the other. Most importantly- society is HIGHLY conditioned for people to gravitate towards men, and ESPECIALLY women are conditioned to want to date and be with men. It’s the norm. If you didn’t grow up in an INSANELY open minded environment, you probably are conditioned to know how to flirt with, date, and sleep with men. When you don’t know HOW to date women as a woman, it’s so hard to navigate. Dating men is usually just easier because we know the social behaviors we’re supposed to be replicating (how to show interest, who asks who out, the man usually initiates most of this) so a lot of women who are new to exploring their sexuality will struggle to figure out dating women. This doesn’t mean you prefer men, that’s just easier because you have years of experience in dating men and even just seeing what that’s supposed to look like. Many women go from dating men their entire lives straight to “holy shit I don’t even like men I’m just used to them” and then end up being a lesbian + happily ever after. Just know anyone who listened to this, whatever your preferences are, your label is valid. I completely respect QT feeling she is straight but sometimes attracted to women, that is so valid. Just know that you could feel the same exact way and feel bi or pan or something else fits better and be just as valid, and that you don’t owe bi/lesbians an amount of female contact to have a valid identity 🥰 Speaking as someone who has identified as bi (both sexual and romantic) since I was 19, have primarily dated men but have slept with both & prefer women ❤

That intro bit where QT talks about not really caring to identify as bisexual really helped me put into words how I feel about my gender identity. I identify as cis although if I were to actually go through all the nuances I’m something like non-binary or gender fluid or somewhere in between those but I do not care enough about those labels to attach them to myself and tell people that. From my perspective I should tell people about my bisexuality because it can help let the people who I am attracted to know who I am attracted to, it gets a piece of important information across. To me gender identity does not hold that same weight so I simply identify as cis.

something that can be useful for people to know who are questioning is often when "spectrum" is used in LBGT+ communities (and neurodivergent communities) it's not referring to a linear that is just a line from point a to b because these things are way more complex than that and everyone's experience can be a lot more unique than just "oh yeah I'm really straight, or really gay, or exactly 50/50" You can identify as bisexual/pansexual/polysexul but not have a desire for romantic saphic relationships there's also terms like "heteromantic bisexual" and also genatalia does not equal gender of course, penis does not equal man, vulva does not equal woman, there are all sorts of people with mixes of genaltalia "not counting girl kisses" is also just kinda patriarchy, bierasure, heteronormativity bs that's been drilled into our head, it doesn't mean that you aren't attracted to women and want to kiss women, it just means you were taught there was a "right way to kiss, which is correct, and real, and one that isn't" similar to how "virginity" is absolute bs because it ignores the reality of how many different types of ways to have sex there are and only puts value on penis vulva penetration

hiii bi girly here just wanted to say this for any people questioning or who would rather identify as something than not because of whatever reasons: crushes on girls and guys ARE different for me and the vast majority of the everyone-loving people (i say it like that because their are mannyyyy more specific and different labels now that are attracted to more than one gender that can kinda be umbrella termed as that). when i have a crush on a girl its a LOT more intense like i would love to be her but i also would love love love to like ?cherish? her make her feel so loved for all of these qualities i admire. also visuals like cuddling and cute little intimate domestic things like follow me around its a disease actually having a crush on a girl makes me lose my mind a bit. this is a bit more specific but im quite a sexual person so a dead giveaway is that id wanna fuck them and ill probs have dreams about it.... not to be ummm i forgot the word with men its usually less consuming. like it would be a LOT more justifiable saying that i am "obsessed" with a girl when i am crushing than with a guy. also typing it out rn i also realise i have a lot less words to say abt men... like idk what to add. ALSO i would love to include non-binary people in this but i have never had a crush on a non-binary person IN person... like a real real crush. obv celeb crushes like amandla stenberg (BAE I LOVE YEW XXX) exist but its diff because they r so separated from you yk. hope this could maybe help someone if not its just interesting to me to put my thoughts into words :D edit: ALSO ANOTHER GIVEAWAY is that i was raised w kinda traditional parents so like gender roles and stereotypes were v known to me. so girl = feminine man = masculine was a way of thought i was born into and thats the same w like 90% of people unless u got some sick ass progressive parents. anyways im saying this cuz ive always been attracted to femininity in everyone (like when id compliment a man on tv saying he was attractive or something my parents would be like "his gay ass?" in a kinda homophobic feminine = gay kinda parent way xx) and since i only thought girl can be feminine that got me thinking.. however that was like 2012 and the world is a lot different now so idk if this is helpful anymore. obv u can be bi and attracted to masculinity BUT any girls raised w traditional values if u r attracted to femininity you MIGHT be into gals (obv u can just be attracted to feminine men).

I'd definitely consider myself a lesbian, I've only ever had proper relationships with women, and I'm only attracted to women. But I still fairly often have sex with men. As far as professional porn, I only really watch lesbian porn, but I can also enjoy amateur porn of just about anything as long as it involves a female or "feminine" people. I did have a pact with a guy, we both saw it as more of a joke, and I ended up having sex way earlier than him, but we still ended up hooking up like a day before I introduced him to a girl who he'd latter marry. Physically speaking lost my "virginity" riding horses young, but actually 16 with a girl and 17 with a guy. My female gym teacher for most of highschool was definitely grooming me by definition, though she was relatively young so I never really viewed is all that weird/strange.
