What an amazing story of Mani and Bobby

Bobby is a true believer - I remember seeing them on late night American tv before Screamadelica broke big - no one knew who they were much less cared. But they played with utter and complete conviction......The Scream weren't too proud to take on outside influences, like the Clash, they were open to new music and Ideas - Bobby is quick to acknowledge the vital contributions others have made. I honestly believe they have made two absolute stone cold classics in Screamadelcia and Vanishing Point. Those are sharply contrasting records too - one full of space and optimism the other dense and claustrophobic..... plus many other brilliant albums and singles. Love the Scream.

I know he has his moment but I've always seen Bobby as a really sound guy missed the scream tour this time round as I was in pantomime but last time I saw them.front row beach ballroom in my hometown of Aberdeen he high fived me from the stage. Met him after the gig where he signed my vinyl and he honestly could not have been nicer I wish I had seen them with Mani in the band too.

spent two days with primal scream when mani was with them, mani a few beers and bed, Bobby soo f**king out of it , he would have took thrush powder up his bugle, rest of the band , all good guys and full of fun including backing singers, loved my two days with them. get a grip of yourself Bobby.
