Thanks for the vid! Just one comment from someone who studies oral microbiology; S. mutans is not particularly associated with gingivitis (this is more related to general high bacterial load in dental plaque + more proteolytic bacteria), but with dental caries because of its saccharolytic properties (ferments carbohydrates to acids which can cause cavities = dental caries). Otherwise thanks for great content! 🙂

No anginosis group included? Those are also clinically important in that they are associated with abscess formation.

i think of the mutans and mitis as being mucousy and mouthy to remember they have biofilms and favor the oropharynx
