In the 1990s 3d fighters were usually the technical showpiece for home consoles. VF5 is over 15 years old and it doesn't look much older than current games like Tekken 7, Soulcalibur 6, DoA6

So the rumors that says SEGA downgraded virtua fighter 5 final showdown in order to keep it under 2gb for consoles online stores is false. They look identical to consoles, actually consoles got better anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering
