It might not be a whole lot more than a chibi-fied version of Virtua Fighter 2, but hey, it's Virtua Fighter 2! I'm not totally sure why it even exists, but it still plays pretty well.

The game was said to be a test for 3D modelled facial expressions. A thing that was later perfected in Virtua Fighter 3

@@angelriverasantana7755 That's because unlike the normal virtual fighter that requires more realistic expressions while the kids version using a more cartoonish style makes it much easier to make facial expressions.

Graphically, this is one of the best looking 3D fighters on the Saturn. This looks very sharp. Fighters Megamix may have more features but visually this is up there with the original VF2.

No, you’re not crazy. In VF2 and VF Kids, fights between Sarah and Jacky always take place in the exclusive Chicago arena.

They were so close...had they featured all 15 characters (I think) it really would have been great. The game was made after VF2 and should have had everyone. Other than that the 3D animations are surprisingly smoother than even VF2 on the Saturn. I don't see any polygonal warping or collision problems that were so prevalent in most 5th generation games especially fighting ones. That's that fast Affine Texture Mapping going to work on the Saturn.

On what planet is this one hard? I used to play this game religiously when I was a kid and hard wasn't this easy. Just coz u selected hard doesnt mean you didn't edit it and change it off camera
