The piano player has perfect pitch hearing. That is how you can automatically play any sound your hear by going to the exact piano note right away. For example the singer Mariah Carey has perfect pitch hearing and that is why she trained her voice to sing any note she hears from an instrument and she can compose music in her head automatically.

I purchased based on these vids, it sounds great, but it's such a pity it takes sooooooooooooooo long to load sounds and is such a CPU hog. I bought for the convenience factor i.e. when I'm sketching ideas it's easier than constantly switching between keyboards and real bass but unfortunately I don't use it because it's so slow.

Where is playing slides located in this very sympathic and awesome video. And I think Waves is underrated here regarding true classic studio bass sound. But I still miss how to play slides here or do I miss sth? Any other video then with this topic?

Slides are just part of the samples. I think you can filter it out and play only slides. Have to mess around with it a little bit I'm not in the studio right now. Worst case you can reach out to their support to help you out with that.

@@virgilhughes7837 Yeah, I just found slides be able to force being played on mod setup midi notes outside of the range triggering like "one octave up" (or down) or sth like that, as you sad (part of samples) but not like 2 notes bound over via a slide from a to b. Which makes sense since this would be a huge ton of more samples "waiting" in the box to be played like for any combination of 2 strings, ... which is quite impossible. So most other plugins I think just "programmed" a half realistic pitch wheel sort of blend between 2 sampled notes I guess. Thanks for the fast reply btw! Great to share thoughts!

There is no option to change the tuning of each string from within the plugin. However, on the WaveSystem Toolbar at the top of the plugin, there's a 'Tune' function which allows global fine tuning of the instrument between -100 cents to 100 cents.

Great instrument plugin, I just have one problem. When I try to record different positions on the fretboard, It only chooses the final position when I play it back. For example, when I record a riff on position 5, and then move to record on position 10, then I play it back, it only plays back that riff on position 10 only.

I believe you need to add to the midi track the note that is responsible for changing positions into the actualy midi part for when ever you want a certain position, if you dont then the whole thing will be played in the last position the plugin remembers
