Being able to play that well on piano, vibes AND drums is quite an achievement. I'm a pianist, and while the vibrafone feels pretty similar and isn't that hard for me to play some basic stuff, the drums are completely different.

Ryszard Jezierski He probably started as a percussionist knowing vibes and drumset already then started learning piano.

You are correct! I started as a percussionist - playing jazz drums and vibes as well as classical percussion! Then picked up piano in college!

Hey Dave, It would be great if you did a video showing how you put this together. Show us what kind of software you used, what went into mixing it, and getting it to display on the screen like this. Kind of a behind the scenes look at the whole production.

We played this at MN all state last year!! Awesome to hear you play it. I was a sax player so it was cool to hear your cover of the soli on all parts!! Would love to hear you cover Afluencia by Bill Cunliffe (another one of our all state tunes). Great vid!

I was thinking the same and I was wondering if you really played the solo that laid back or if this was how it came out after the track got synced to the rhythm section tracks.
