Hi, it's just a choice and for convenience sake. You could just have one key work on the all decks. But this requires the deck to be active.

Let me understand well. The pitch slider will move when you adjust the BPM. So you entirely keep it in one place. But if it is the pitch of the song you are playing, the keylock should work fine for you. Just turn it on before you adjust the bpm
