hi im completely new to the 8th tell me how did u even got there with the right screen saying SAMPLES and having all them squares?

My guess is, instead of seeing pads, you're seeing just rows of samples. Upper right hand corner of the sample player there is a little button with 6 dots on it, click it.

Load your sample into the sampler. go to the sample editor, make the clip a loop

Hey Sean, good to hear from you. Hope your holiday was good. To answer your question: sorta. Let me get some more info from you. Are you playing the samples underneath a song that is playing or just the samples by themselves?

Echo Papa Thanks for the greeting. I am trying to play a video samples while playing a song in one of the decks

Sean Denard No problem. Whenever you want your sample to play, setup an action point telling it to play the sample in question. You can do that for as many samples as u want. U can set 99 total points per song. U can use the action points to either turn on a sample or turn it off.

Echo Papa thank you. I guess I can read up on setting up action. But will this allow me to play consecutive samples with one click on my controller?

Not specifically. Basically, you would play your song, when it comes to your point with the action, it plays the sample. When u want it to stop, you put in a point that both turns off the current sample starts the next, etc. If u are just trying to basically play video samples, you can play the video samples in the order that you want and record it to a video. Then load the recorded video into a sample pad of its own and just fire it off when u want to play it.
