Awesome information as always Pete!!! Any suggestions on finding a fender sound on AUV?

I tend to use Tonebridge and just start dialling in songs with the guitar sound I’m looking for. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWTFlJh9aNSYf6csi=xPR9_mXhPSzDSFmV

It’s also worth mentioning that Tonebridge works on any kind of track, not just audio tracks, so you can use it with your MIDI guitars without losing their “editability”! (You can technically use it with non-guitars too, but it’ll probably sound bad)

That’s a good point as it’s an AUv3. I might need an updated video on this.

Awesome vid. That face recognition with the wah pedal is super cool and I can see the changing from virtual guitar to amp sim being pretty useful.

hi Pete, I have a question, I own a windsynth (Roland Aerophone AE-20), Im trying to connect it with Garageband, however I'm experiencing latency because of the bluetooth. I know there should be a way where I can connect it, but not sure where to start looking. Do you have any recommendation, I heard I might need an interface, but I want to make sure before I invest on it. I want to be able to use the sounds my instrument has to record and create tracks. thanks in advance

Hey there. So if it’s a MIDI instrument and you want to use it for MIDI you’d need some sort of USB output? Does it have a USB-C or micro USB socket? Otherwise if it sends its own audio out you can indeed capture this with an audio interface. More details at studiolivetoday.com/usb

@@PeteJohnsMusic thanks for the quick response. So the Roland Ae-20 has a USB-C cable to regular USB to connect to a computer. In my case Im using that cable with a small adapter from USB to USB-C so I can connect it to my iphone 15 (USB-C). Thing is that the only way I get it to work is selecting for example a piano in the app and when I blow the instrument I hear a latency because of bluetooth, but if I turn the bluetooth off on the instrument, I stop hearing it at all. I will check the link you sent for sure. Thank you so much!
