mike is, and has been for decades, THE single most underrated guitarist in rock. absolutely impossible to imagine TPHB without him/his incredible guitar playing. Thanks Mike for more than 40years of music...and treasured memories.

Mike is really easy to listen to. Tremendous talent, great guitarist. Humble guy. Much respect for his willingness to discuss Tom as his good friend, lead man and band mate. If you are a Heartbreakers fan the music from the Fillmore is a must have.

I was at two of the shows. Came up from L.A. Originally some were to take place in 1996, but Tom injured himself (broken arm if I recall correctly), and so they were all moved to 1997. By the way, it's some stretch to say Mike wrote "Jammin' Me" "for" Bob Dylan. Tom and Bob co-wrote it for Tom to record, and Mike changed some chords to improve it. But never was it written for Bob, and Mike's contributions in particular were after Bob had completed his contribution to the songwriting process. So that one is pretty much a lie.
