Excellent work Mr Horsley. Outstanding. It's mesmerizing, fantastical, fierce, raw, alien. Something this unusual lacks the words to describe it. The guy who did the Marum Crater descent wasn't planning ahead. The first thing I thought of is I bet he forgot to bring some hot dogs. Sure enough. Majorly missed opportunity.

Fantastic! I don't suppose you can loop this for about 10 hours! I love using nature sounds to sleep to. Annnnnd I can watch lava and fire for hours... Something very cathartic about watching a lava lake. I don't suppose that you have any footage of a lava lake overflowing it's walls do you? That would be fun to watch. I wanted to be a volcanologist ever since Mt St Helen's blew when I was 9. Got married first.... Ooops.
@ChristopherHorsley4 жыл бұрын
Yup, its pretty epic! I sat here all night watching this spectacle. No footage of it overflowing, but there is a partial collapse in there.
@fairwitness74734 жыл бұрын
Update. I couldn't get over watching this. So, I've changed my profession and become a functional art Glass blower. It's the closest I can get to playing with lava. I'm so in love with it. Thank you for the inspiration.

@johnbradshaw75253 жыл бұрын
This lava lake doesn't exist any more. The lake drained following a flank eruption then the crater collapsed following an earthquake. Geoff Mackley did a couple of videos about the demise of the lava lakes at Ambryn volcano.

@@ChristopherHorsley I loved watching Geoff Mackly climbing down to the lava lake and standing watching the lava. There's something fascinating about watching lava erupting from a volcano. I can watch this video for ages. I'm loving the footage of the Icelandic eruption.

Thank you! Yeas, one day i will do a longer version. But sadly this lava lake does not exist anymore :(

right click on video and click loop, then you'll have it for five hours. Also, if you speed it up to 1.5 speed, you'll have approximately the correct speed, this has been slowed down.

Thank you for sharing and capturing this amazing footage of the reality of our location just 50 miles above this. Imagine this without a crust the size of a sun. Then imagine 50billion of the squeezed into a singularity how hot and powerful that must be then spin that singularity at 1200 RPS. Mind-blowing 🤯 the creation of Allah. Please my friends read the Quran. The Hellfire is no joke. Quran has come with clear proofs and warnings + glad tidings. Let's take heed of the meaning of our previous time on earth.
