Virtual Lesson #06 (Medicine): What Happened When the Soldiers Got Sick?

This lesson explains how disease was a greater threat to the soldiers than actual bullets. Soldiers suffered from epidemics without cure, constant exposure, and grueling physical stress. Soldiers were also subject to primitive, filthy medical conditions compared to the 21st century and medicines that sometimes did even greater damage.
