in order to use a product on tv you need to get permission and usually have to pay even if you don't explicitly mention it. This is why many shows that use company products hide the label or use fake names like cola drink even though it looks similar to pepsi. Anyone looking for a vr headset knows that that this was an htc vive. Even if they didn't know if they searched for this vr headset they would easily find out its htc because its look is unique. Jimmy Fallon has an apple MacBook and doesn't hide the logo because he has permission from the show to use it.

Contrary to what Fallon said, the Vive is not "millions of dollars". It's being sold for around $700 now. You do need a pretty decent computer, but if you're already into gaming you probably have one that either meets the requirement or comes close enough that you could upgrade it. You can find plenty of info online about how to get one and set it up, or you could really just contact me or someone else. Trust me, I speak from experience, the Vive is the BEST purchase I have made in the past few years. Once VR takes off, I can totally see it being as, if not more, revolutionary as the television was in the next few years.

The difference is that in virtual reality you can draw in 3 dimensions, which you can't on a piece of paper, so it literally adds a new dimension of possibilities. They did not however utilize it very well since they just drew flat pictures, but more could be done.
