My theory is: at 13:54 their camera died, or either one of the recordings failed and they had to restart. depends on your intent with the track, something meant to be enjoyed live will need to be closer to mono, with more of an illusion of stereo to avoid cancellation. if its meant for YT probably more free with stereo liberty.

@ if thats how you want to do it, sure. you can make some very wide stuff for headphones/stereo environment but that won't be viable for live environments due to club setups generally being mono. one way to get best of both worlds is to make a mono body and add stereo layers. it would all be heard on stereo but in mono like clubs the mono body would be most prominent with stereo layers either inaudible or barely audible, so would be best to make layers gradually stage into stereo opposed to 3-4 completely stereo layers.
