Virtual Riot tiene 23 recién, aún tiene mucho tiempo para experimentar con el bass music. Además, el género está creciendo mucho, dudo que muera en un corto tiempo. Lo que ya definitivamente murió es el EDM en sí, así que... a disfrutar mientras no se vuelva moda como el techno o como lo fue el Big Room

I see a lot of arguments over this song's genre. Honestly idrk the difference between riddim and modern brostep, but skrillex is brostep and subtronics is riddim, some people are in between. People are calling the in between genre "Briddim," and that's the most accurate description I've heard so far.

The point of my comment is that ITS ALL JUST DUBSTEP! I've been into Dubstep and going to shows for about 11 years now and most of the dubstep I listened to in 2007 and 2008 sounded exactly like what you guys call "Riddim". We just called it Dubstep though. It's wierd how things work out. First there was early dubstep from 2005-2008. The Heavier stuff sounded like what you guys call Riddim now. Then Brostep got fucking Huge! Then back to the Riddim again. It's like Dubstep was evolving and then it said "No wait, Fuck that Shit, Im turning around and going back to the way it use to be". Lmao

@@GuntherVnc Riddim started off as being an industrial style of Wonky Dubstep (Rusko's and Caspa's idea of Brostep). In other words, the first Riddim tunes were experimental Brostep tunes, as it was pioneered around 2010 - 2013. Some called it Swamp, some called it Wonky Dubstep, and some called it Riddim. I always considered guys like Dubloadz, Megalodon, and Bukez Finezt as Riddim producers back in the day. These guys had sexy basslines, wonky groove, and very distinctive styles, unlike most Riddim normies today. I wouldn't say that Riddim is entirely based on or even sounds remotely like (2008 - 2010) Brostep. There's one important thing that Brostep in that time had that Riddim doesn't, and that's a drive for creative compositions. By all means, I can easily call Dubstep in that time good music that most fans of the genre can at least appreciate, unlike Riddim which was originally created to appreciate a fanbase of bass heads in that standard.
