Thank you for posting this kittikoko. I spent the happiest years of my childhood on that beach and can personally name every single pebble and rock pool! I am relieved to see that in 50 years that stretch of beach has hardly changed at all. I enjoyed every step of your walk. I hope you continued on to the Crab & Lobster for a drink? I remember this well from the 1960s. We would walk from Whitecliff Bay along the clifftops (past Bembridge School) to the lifeboat station and then along Bembridge beach as you have done. Thank you so much, you have awoken fond memories.
