Let's explore the world through Google Street View.
Today we are visiting Sfax Tunisia. What an interesting old city! I love seeing that walled in portion of the city and getting a peak at the old grand Mosque and streets of shopping. I wish I could have seen more. The rest of the city has plenty to offer as well. Everything is so bright and very attractive. Would love to visit! I am so sorry about the audio quality. My mic volume was cranked up from a video conference I had during this coronavirus shut down, and I failed to turn it down. Will fix next time! :)

Sfax is an industrial city. although it's not that big, it's the second-largest urban area in Tunisia. It has precious and well-preserved monuments. but it's not considered as a tourist attraction, unfortunately. it's locally and widely known for its chemical industry areas and its important harbor . it's an honor for us to have you as a virtual visitor.

Overall thank you for this nice aireal presentation of the city of Sfax. It is so rare to find someone who is not familiar with the city and who is able to provide such a pleasant description about its ramparts. This reflects that you did your homework before making this good quality video ;). Unfortunately there were a few imperfections like the "city hall", the "phosphate dune" and the "salt production fields" which appear in green and purple like colors from the sky .... I hope that you find some more time to dig more about this Mediterranean city and to make a field tour in it... Kind regards from a Sfax native ...

Sfax is Tunisia second city... Named after the numidian King Syphax... It has a population of 340.000 and the Greater Sfax 600.000... Total Area of 220 km² bigger than Tunis who has 5x more habitants... After the independence Sfax was planned to be the economical capital of Tunisia like Casablanca in Morocco but nothing happened...

Unfortunately, the Google maps street view was shot back in 2014, things have changed now in 2023, I am currently in Sousse, its almost a whole new city, new shops, new buildings, updated roads and new roads, especially the cars had changes, I hope they update it very soo. Thx for video , I'm in sfax and what you see is normal Sunday " not because covid19 " anyway the people's here chill in home Sunday this way street empty and eat couscous with fish " most of them " U can more much better video if u here because google show only big street in sfax and in Tunisia in general.
