Kudos for the endings to many of these grab bags. This has certainly become a signature thing of this channel. It also demonstrates how, while there might be other railroad streamers, they're not so polished as this one. The editing and production values clearly show some skills others don't have, or choose not to use. It's been a pleasure to see all of this take place over the months or years (can't remember when I first found VRF). As always, well done.

Every time I see footage from the Virginia Museum of Transportation, I get another glimpse of the roof of the poor dirty and neglected GG1 there.* Until I saw the J class 611, GG1s were my favorite locomotives (I saw them daily pulling freight as a child, and appreciated them more as an adult). * To be fair, that GG1 is so far from home, I can understand that it is not a featured exhibit.

A Bolton's Wheat Express locomotive? Doesn't that belong in a yard somewhere?
@larryfoster2429 Жыл бұрын
Bolton was used move the wheat from the wheat fields in several Texas towns to the storage silos in Vernon, Texas, they used to have 2 GP7's and 3 SW1200 switchers, this is last loco Boltons had, they have now all been sold off, going to miss them.

Reporting mark TISX is Trinity Industries Leasing so likely lease on unit at end and it no longer needed, or it is being replaced by another unit, or could be going to shop for repairs, or could have suffered catastrophic mechanical failure and going to be parted out/scrapped, or......?
