Varied upbeat tunes. Beautiful scenery and plenty of puppers to keep me distracted.

Great video. Please can you keep doing versions with the metrics. I find it very handy to see how far I've run and how far is left to go. Oh and the gradient display is very useful as I can alter my running machine's gradient to match it. Without this information setting the running machine speed, etc is guesswork. I hope displaying the metrics doesn't spoil the enjoyment others find in the videos.

Noted! I surveyed users about preference for metrics was fairly evenly split so I try to do both. Trouble is I can't upload 2 versions of the same run as duplicate videos would put the channel at risk. I'm looking at using another platform to put 2 versions of each video.

That is outstanding scenery, and that lake is so long! Where is that? I can't run anymore because of my bad knee's! I have an elliptical, so I work out, that way with you. Thankyou for all your runs in such beautiful places.💖👍

I'm wondering if KZbin captions / subtitles could be used for the metrics? They could be turned on and off by the viewer.

Cool idea! Thanks for the suggestion - I'll have a think!

@@virtualrunningvideo After thinking about the subtitle use further, I doubt the user would want to display the information in a big black box as it will cover up the middle bottom on the screen. I suspect the black box would float above the bottom edge being really annoying. I think the map, time and gradient positioned out the way in the top left, drawn in white, work really well as they are not distracting. Thanks again for the great videos.

The scenery is great, but you gotta add music! That constant crunch from your shoes is annoying.

Thanks for your comment. Most people have requested just the natural sounds so I usually do this, but sometimes I add music. Have a great day!
