Bro I think he is using Adobe character animator that allows you to make animation like your facial act. Adobe character animator is make this type of animation so easily. Just draw your character and sit down infront of your camera and your character start animating like you move. (This is the possibility that I think)

You have reward yourself once you are done with your work, not in the middle of study during a break, that will obviously not work because your dopamine levels will suddenly spike and you won't feel like continuing study anymore.
